Chimé Phagme Nyingtik Practice Intensive
A seven-day drubchod or practice intensive will be held at Sea to Sky Retreat Centre this summer. The focus of this retreat is to familiarize practitioners with Chime Phagme Nyingtik (The Heart Essence of Deathless Arya Tara). One must have received the Chime Phagma Nyingtik empowerment from a qualified master prior to attending the retreat. (Note: for those who have not received this empowerment but wish to do so, it will be offered in Vancouver on April 29 by the 42nd Sakya Trizen, Ratna Vajra Rinpoche )
This group practice will focus on the sadhana practice of Chime Phagma Nyingtik throughout the day including a daily Tsok offering. Participants will be able to deepen their understanding of the sadhana by practicing together. The retreat will be led by senior practitioners authorized by Rinpoche to provide Chime Phagma Nyingtik instruction: Florence Koh & Chris Jay.
There will be opportunities to learn the mudras, how to set up the shrine, as well as to learn about the use of ritual objects and substances and the Choppon (shrine master) disciplines. Also, the schedule will include discussion periods in which participants will have opportunities to ask questions pertaining to both the view and the details of the practice.
