Chimé Phagme Nyingthig Practice Intensive
AT: Sea to Sky Retreat Centre, Whistler, Canada
SSRC will host a 7-day drupchod on the practice of Chimé Phagme Nyingthig (The Heart Essence of Deathless Ārya Tārā) from June 20 - 28. This is a precious treasure of the Khyentse Lineage, revealed by Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo. This annual drupchod is considered by Rinpoche to be one of the important events of the year, particularly in his seat in North America, which has been blessed by great masters such as H.H. The 41st Sakya Trizin and is firmly protected by Gesar. Increasingly, Rinpoche is wanting us to develop non-Tibetan ways of performing long pujas such as drupchods and drupchens.
As always, we will be focusing on learning the ritual arts of performing a drupchod, and will also be implementing Rinpoche’s new suggestions. This drupchod will be an unparalleled way of deepening and re-inspiring your practice, and deepening your devotion to Rinpoche and the Khyentse Lineage.
One must have received the Chimé Phagme Nyingthig empowerment from a qualified master prior to attending the retreat.
