Chimé Phagme Nyingthig and Vimai Ladrub Retreat
A seven-day drubchod or practice intensive will be held at Sea to Sky Retreat Centre this year in early June. By participation in a seven-day practice intensive, this retreat will familiarize practitioners with the sadhanas of Vimai Ladrub (The Guru Sādhana of Vimalamitra) & Chimé Phagme Nyingthig (The Heart Essence of Deathless Ārya Tārā).
One must have received the Chimé Phagme Nyingthig empowerment from a qualified master prior to attending the retreat. Please let us know if you have not received the Vimai Ladrub empowerment.
Each day the morning session will consist of the practice of the Vimai Ladrub sadhana. Each afternoon will be dedicated to the practice of the Chime Phagme Nyingtik sadhana including tsok offering.
There will be opportunities to learn the mudras as well as to learn the different puja arts: torma-making, shrine master (chopon) activities, leading chanting, and how to set up the shrine. In addition, methods of retreat practice will be explained. Also, the schedule will include discussion periods in which participants will have opportunities to ask questions pertaining to both the view and the details of the practice.
