Knowing Deception, Enjoying Truth
Though meditation can bring the benefits of temporary relaxation and happiness, Buddhist meditation is meant to go much deeper and further. It is meant to liberate us from self deception.
“In Buddhism mindfulness is not for relieving stress. It is not for happiness. Everlasting happiness is an oxymoron. It doesn’t exist. The purpose of mindfulness is to make you realize the truth.”
