WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
There are many aspects of the site which can be viewed without providing personal information, however in order to provide you with a range of services, we may collect personal information from this site. We may for example, keep a record of your name, mailing address, e-mail address and telephone number.
HOW DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION?
As part of our service we collect personally identifiable information, like names, email addresses, etc., when these are voluntarily submitted by our users. The information you provide us with is only used to fulfill your specific request, unless you give us permission to use it in another way, e.g. to add you to our mailing list.
We may operate a mailing list to send you news about Siddhartha’s Intent and its activities. This mailing list currently operates as a 'opt out' mailing list whereby subscribers remove themselves from categories of the list. We only send emails to addresses which have been subscribed to the list, we do not 'spam'. If you wish to unsubscribe from the list please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We do not share, licence or sell these e-mail addresses without your expressed consent.
COMPLYING WITH THE LAW
We may share information with governmental agencies or other institutions if required by law, and/or we need to in order to protect against or prevent or investigate actual or potential fraud or unauthorised transactions. Only authorised employees, agents and contractors (who have agreed to keep information secure and confidential) have access to basic account information.
We take every precaution to protect your personal information. We only allow access to the customer database when absolutely necessary, and then under strict guidelines as to what use may be made of such details. We may ask you for proof of identity before disclosing any personal information to you. Siddhartha’s Intent takes all reasonable security measures to protect personal information from loss, unauthorised access, destruction, misuse, modification or disclosure. Except to the extent required by law, Siddhartha’s Intent accepts no responsibility for the unauthorised access of personal information held by Siddhartha’s Intent.
